In this paper, we focus on the dimension ‘Banking’ (covering financial investing, saving, using credit). Knowledge and understanding of personal finance was assessed using the German adaptation of the US Test of Financial Literacy. In this paper, we investigate the relationships between these latter variables based on a sample of 1108 young adults from Germany, aged 17–25, beginning their studies in higher education. Hence, apart from parents’ influence as role models, important influences on young adults’ financial knowledge and understanding likely include their personal experience with financial products and their behavior of informally seeking information about specific financial products. When you start playing, all you care about is breaking those number blocks and nothing else□. Second of all, You know that feeling when you have had a rough day and all you want to do is relax but you are too stressed out to? Well this game is your melatonin. First, almost no adds show up at all which I find is great because I read reviews and amazing apps get 3 stars just because there are a lot of adds. I gave this game 5 stars because of the following reasons. Unfortunately, I will probably put this game down soon.Īnd one final note, I’ve seen a lot of reviewers that say that there’s a ton of ads, but I’ve barely seen any in my play-through. And even if you feel like going back to the standard gameplay afterwards, that becomes too easy after going through the rigorous challenges. It’s weird because the game makes you feel like you have choices, when really everything is completely random and at the end of the day it’s up to the game if you win or not. I’m currently having trouble in the mid-30’s in many challenges, all of your progress can vanish away so easily, and it’s really annoying. And once the challenges started to crank up in difficulty, I started having a much harder time with them. Although I really appreciate the addition, the challenges get repetitive with many just being harder versions of previous challenges. This game has 50 challenges to go through, ranging from getting a high score, staying alive for a certain amount of time, or even dying in a certain amount of time. Despite the concept being pretty decent, however, I do have some issues with the game. It’s a pretty good background game that really tests your quick thinking skills and your ability to make quick decisions while it’s at it. I decided to get this game after it was recommended by a friend of mine. I know you need adds for the game to earn money but pls let it come less frequently and if your not going to adjust it to 5-10 levels then and add you can maybe keep one short add like 5-10 seconds.□ Everything else is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME □ Sometimes 2! Maybe every 5-10 levels there should be one or two adds. The levels should never stop so if the levels are not infinite maybe try to make new levels as frequently as you can□also pleaseee try to involve less adds! Whenever I do it like every 2 or 3 levels I get adds. I love how there are challenges and you can go online verse people! Also I’m almost done collecting all the skins so please make more skins or you could make more skins but you unlock them when you finished the other ones! Again another suggestion□ also this game goes on for infinity ♾ right? If it doesn’t I think it should. just a suggestion! also the snake skin is really creepy and a bit overweight. ITS SO FUNNNN!!! Literally addicted to this game I’m level 98 and when I’m done with this review I’m gonna be level 100!!!!! YAY! Only thing is one of the skins/snakes is the American flag colors but how about other people who don’t live there? Maybe there could be a couple other flags. Snakes vs blocks has a very interesting concept but. Each source is active only on a defined set of zoomlevels.Īllows you to define tile layer URLs using a function. How do you convert fractions to decimals manually? High-tech coatings are used to make colors true, enhance brightness, and protect your expensive lenses. Where tech does show up is in the glass quality and the coatings used. What makes great binoculars hasn’t changed much over the years and still boils down to quality glass and craftsmanship. Tech FeaturesĪside from range-finding binoculars, most have surprisingly little tech as we usually think of it in terms of electronics and connectivity. If you’re mostly using binoculars on a tripod (a must for higher-magnification binos), you may want to prize optical quality over weight savings. Heavier binoculars are harder to use for longer periods of time, since your arms and shoulders do eventually fatigue and become shaky. If you’re a hunter or hiker who doesn’t need ready access to your binoculars and can keep them in a pack until you need them at specific spots, you may be able to tolerate heavier options.Įven folks that mostly use binoculars at home or from a vehicle need to consider weight. For me, anything heavier than about 35 ounces is too much to carry in a chest harness when actively hunting and covering several miles a day. You need to balance the desire for a larger, brighter optic with your ability and interest to carry it around your neck over long distances. “Most of my selections are 10x magnification, but we’ve included a few different objective lens sizes other than 42mm.” Weightįor backcountry hunters and hikers, weight is one of the most important considerations in a binocular. Probably the most common size is 10x42, which permits a big enough field of view and magnification for viewing things as near as 15 feet but still allows you to spot larger objects such as wildlife as far as a mile away. On the other end of the spectrum, most binoculars larger than about 55mm become heavy and unwieldy if used without a tripod.īinoculars are listed by size spec, where the first number is magnification and the second is objective lens diameter. I find ultracompact binoculars of less than about 30mm annoying to use for more than a quick look at something relatively nearby since the field of view is small and it can be harder to keep in position on your eyes. Objective lens sizes in binoculars range anywhere from 20mm to 100mm, but the common sizes are mostly in the 30mm to 60mm range. “Larger objective lenses allow more light into the optic but are also heavier to pack and carry with you.” “One of the key things that needs to be decided is brightness versus weight,” he explains. Jeremy Bentham, Senior Manager of SRO Sales & Operations for Nikon, explains the trade-offs associated with objective lens size. Objective lens diameter is the size of the lens farthest from your eyes and impacts the field of vision you get as well as how bright the image is since, generally, bigger lenses capture more light. Higher-power binoculars make sense if you’re looking to avoid also carrying a spotting scope and glassing longer distances up to a mile or in need of precise detail such as when you need to determine if an animal is a legal target. In general, lower-power binoculars are a better fit if you’re mostly glassing shorter distances, such as in forests, and don’t need precise detail. Much less than 8x isn’t enough of an effect to bother with for most applications, while much more than 18x becomes difficult to use without a tripod. not zoomable) and range between 8x and 18x. The magnifications of most consumer binoculars are fixed (ie. While hunting brought me to appreciate quality binoculars, I now enjoy spotting wildlife year-round for the fun of it as well. I bought lots of cheap pairs that worked well enough, but through borrowing friends’ binoculars and finding the limits of my budget options, I discovered that good glass could be the difference between finding elk and not finding elk. Show more The Expert: I’ve been hunting with binoculars for 30-plus years, but my passion for quality optics really came into focus when I moved to Colorado in 2010 and started, very literally, searching for big game.
